Residents at Balgowan House recently embarked on another exciting journey as part of the home’s popular Around the World Wednesday series.
This time, residents chose to explore the rich history, culture and traditions of Italy, learning fascinating facts about one of Europe’s most iconic countries. A special thank you goes to Diana, who helped bring the session to life by sharing her knowledge and providing plenty of interesting information for everyone to enjoy.
Adding an extra touch of creativity to the day, resident John proudly showcased a hand-crafted model of the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, which he had made especially for the occasion. The impressive model sparked lots of conversation and admiration from fellow residents.
Around the World Wednesday continues to be a fantastic way for residents to discover new places, share experiences and enjoy learning together. From famous landmarks and local traditions to food, culture and history, each week offers a new opportunity to travel the globe without leaving the comfort of Balgowan House.
A huge thank you to Diana and John for helping make Italy Day such a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. We can’t wait to see where Around the World Wednesday takes us next!
