Administrator
Cassie Williamson began studying for a BTEC National Diploma in Health Studies in 1997 and worked in a variety of roles before joining Balgowan House in March 2000 as a Healthcare Assistant (NVQ Level 3). Cassie thoroughly enjoyed the role and remained in the position for 15 years.
In 2015, a new administration role was introduced by the Home Manager, and Cassie was quickly identified as the ideal candidate.
Today, Cassie provides invaluable support to the Registered Manager and plays an integral role in the day-to-day running of the home. While the role is varied and often busy, she enjoys the challenges and opportunities each day brings. Although now focused on administration, Cassie continues to spend time with residents and regularly gets involved in activities and events throughout the home. She is a highly valued member of the Balgowan House team.
Mo is the Activities Coordinator at Balgowan House and is passionate about ensuring every resident enjoys meaningful interaction, engagement and companionship each day.
She works hard to create a varied and inclusive programme of activities tailored to residents’ interests, abilities and preferences. From arts and crafts and music sessions to celebrations, themed events and group activities, there is always something to enjoy.
Regular visits from entertainers are a popular part of life at Balgowan House, and family and friends are always encouraged to join residents in activities and special events throughout the year.
